Privacy Policy

Home / Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Galveston Cruise Center handles information when you visit galvestoncruisecenter.com, subscribe to coverage notes, request a quote, send a testimonial, unsubscribe, or email hello@galvestoncruisecenter.com. We wrote it in plain language because warranty decisions are already full of fine print.

Last updated: 14 October 2026. If we change this policy, we will update the date and post the new version on this page. Where a change is significant and we have your email because you subscribed, we will also send a short notice.

1. Who this policy covers

“We” means Galveston Cruise Center. This policy covers the website and the email desk. It does not describe the privacy practices of a repair shop, a social network you use to share our pages, or an administrator that later issues a warranty contract. If you enroll in a plan, that company’s privacy notice will govern the contract file.

2. Information you give us

Depending on the form, you may give us your name, email address, a subject line, the vehicle year and a model description, an approximate odometer reading, how the vehicle is used, the coverage path you are considering, a message, a testimonial, and an unsubscribe reason. You might also email photographs of an odometer, a repair estimate, or an existing schedule.

Please do not send payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or government identity numbers. We do not need them to discuss coverage. If you include them anyway, delete the message from your side and tell us so we can delete our copy.

If you write about another driver, send only what that person asked you to send. Do not give us someone else’s email address as if it were yours.

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the server that hosts these pages may briefly log technical data such as browser type, general device category, the page requested, and the time of the request. We use that log to keep the site available and to understand which guides are being read. We do not use it to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell it.

The forms on this site are client-side. Your browser checks required fields and shows a thank-you message. That design means a form submission is not, by itself, stored in an account on this website. If you want a reply, the practical step is the email conversation that follows, using the address you typed or a message you send directly to the desk.

4. Cookies and similar storage

We do not require an account cookie to read the pages. A host or a font provider may set a technical cookie or similar file that is needed to deliver the page or the typeface. Social sharing links in the footer point to other sites; if you follow them, those sites may set their own cookies under their own policies.

You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking every cookie may not change how our pages read, because the guidance itself is ordinary HTML. If a future version of the site needs a preference cookie, we will describe it here before we rely on it.

5. How we use information

We use what you send for the purpose you had in mind:

We do not use your vehicle details to surprise you with unrelated product pitches. If a note is optional, the subscribe form is where you opt in.

6. Legal grounds, described generally

Where privacy law asks for a reason, we rely on one or more of the following: you asked us to take a step (a quote, a claim checklist, a subscription); we have a legitimate interest in answering that request and keeping the site reliable; we need to keep a record to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim; or you gave a consent that you can withdraw, such as a subscription. We do not ask you to accept this policy as a condition of reading public pages.

7. Email notes and marketing

Coverage notes are sent only if you subscribe or if you expressly ask for a reminder about a renewal month. Each note will identify Galveston Cruise Center and will point you to the unsubscribe page. You may also email hello@galvestoncruisecenter.com with the subject Unsubscribe.

A reply about a quote or a claim file you opened is a service message, not a newsletter. Unsubscribing stops the notes. It does not delete an active thread unless you also ask us to close that thread.

8. Unsubscribe handling

When you submit the unsubscribe form or email us, we match the address and suppress newsletter mail to it. Please allow a short processing gap. If a message was already queued, one last note may arrive. After that, marketing mail should stop. Mail you send us can still be answered.

Unsubscribing does not cancel a warranty contract. Cancellation is governed by the plan you signed.

9. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent email lists. We share information only in these limited ways:

10. How long we keep information

Quote correspondence is kept long enough to finish the conversation and to answer a follow-up in the same season, then deleted or reduced to a short record that a request existed, unless you ask us to keep a summary. Claim-coaching emails may be kept longer because repair disputes surface months later and you may need the checklist we sent. Subscription data is kept while you are subscribed and for a short suppression period afterward so we do not mail you again by mistake.

Server logs rotate on a short cycle. Testimonials are kept if you agree they may be published; otherwise the draft is deleted after we decide not to use it. We may keep a copy when we need it to meet a legal duty or to resolve a dispute.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical care appropriate to an email guidance desk. No method of sending email is perfectly secure. Use a private mailbox, avoid public devices for claim attachments, and do not forward your thread to people who should not see the mileage or the repair estimate.

Our staff access mailbox tools only as needed. We do not ask you to “confirm” a password because we do not issue website passwords.

12. Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may ask us to:

Send requests to hello@galvestoncruisecenter.com with the subject Privacy. Tell us the email address you used so we can find the thread. We may ask a simple question to confirm we are writing to the same person. We will respond within the time applicable law requires, and in any event we aim to answer within thirty days.

If a law gives you the right to complain to a privacy authority, you may do that. We would like the chance to resolve the issue first.

13. Children

Auto warranty guidance is meant for adults who own or manage a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child sent us a message, email hello@galvestoncruisecenter.com and we will delete it.

14. International visitors

The desk answers email from wherever you write. Your information may be handled in the place where our mail is hosted and read. If applicable law requires a particular safeguard for a transfer, we will use a lawful mechanism or we will decline the information. This policy does not appoint the desk as a representative under any one region’s statute, and it does not limit rights that law gives you where you live.

15. Links and social sharing

The footer includes links that let you share our web address on social networks or by email. If you use them, the other service receives the fact that you chose to share, under that service’s policy. We do not receive your social password. We do not place social plug-ins that track you across the rest of your browsing.

16. Testimonials and projects

If you send a testimonial, we will not publish your email address. We may publish your first name and last name, or a shorter credit if you ask. You can request that a published note be removed, and we will take it down from the site. Project stories on the projects page are representative composites and are not labeled with private customer identities.

17. Do not track

Browsers may send a do-not-track signal. There is no uniform rule for how sites must respond. We do not respond to that signal with a special banner because we are not running cross-site advertising trackers. Our ordinary practices in this policy still apply.

18. Changes to this policy

We review this policy when we add a form, change email tools, or learn that a description has become stale. The version on this page is the current one. Earlier versions are available by email request if you need to see what applied when you wrote to us.

19. Contact about privacy

Privacy questions and requests go to hello@galvestoncruisecenter.com. Use the subject line Privacy. Desk hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Email is the only channel we monitor for privacy requests.

If your message is about a warranty contract that an administrator issued, contact that administrator as well. We can help you find the clause, and we cannot erase records that a separate company is required to keep under its own contract.
